Abstract This account investigates two varied countries, Mexico and Czechoslovakian reticuloendothelial system publica, the cultural equivalentities and differences in the midst of them, as well as foursome different HRM practices (recruitment and selection, culture and development, rewards and benefits and performance appraisal) and the differences/similarities of how they are practiced in the two different countries. The aim was to see if the countries are much or little similar when it comes to the four HRM practices investigated. Furthermore, the outcomes of the paper depict that Mexico and Czech majority rule are more similar than different when it comes to the practicing of HRM practices. Moreover, it also shows similarities in Hofstedes cultural dimensions between the countries, and how these dimensions affect the HRM practices. Additionally, the limitation of this paper was the lack of relevant articles and other sources regarding the investigated HRM practic es in Czech Republic, particularly regarding rewards and benefits.
